How Make A QR Code Now handles QR form details, browser storage, static hosting requests and future advertising. QR generation runs locally in your browser.

Your QR content

The WiFi password, contact details, phone number, email and URLs you enter are processed in browser memory to create a QR image. The application does not send those fields to an API, put them in the page URL, or store them in cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage. Reset clears the form and current result. Your browser, extensions, device backups or download manager may retain their own copies outside our control.

Images you download and share

Downloaded PNG and SVG files contain the information you entered. Anyone with the file can decode it, including a WiFi password. You control where you save and distribute the image. Scanning a destination link can send information to that destination under its own privacy policy.

Ordinary hosting requests

Cloudflare Pages is the selected static hosting provider. When this site is served through Cloudflare, ordinary hosting requests involve processing request data such as IP addresses and traffic information. Cloudflare’s handling and retention of hosting request data are described in its Privacy Policy and, where applicable, its Data Processing Addendum, linked below. This is separate from local QR generation: this application does not upload QR form content or operate a QR-content logging backend.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This version does not load analytics, advertising or consent-management scripts and does not create application cookies. Advertising is disabled. If advertising is introduced, this policy and the consent setup must be updated before activation to describe the actual providers and data processing.
