Share the right Instagram profile
Use the exact username
Copy the username from the profile you intend to share. Display names are not unique. This tool accepts usernames and direct profile URLs, not posts or Reels, and removes tracking parameters.
Let the visitor choose Follow
A QR contains a destination, not permission to change a visitor’s account. After opening Instagram, the visitor chooses Follow. Private accounts can require the profile owner to approve the request.
Test before printing
Scan on the devices your visitors use and verify the username. Instagram may open in an app or browser and require its own sign-in. If the username changes, generate a new code. Your details are not uploaded by this generator.
Add a logo or photo to your Instagram QR code
Customize the center, keep the destination
Open “Add a logo or photo” after entering your details. Choose a sample icon or upload a PNG, JPG or WebP image up to 3 MB. Images are cropped to a square. The optional “Make image black & white” switch uses grayscale; turn it off to restore the color image. Customization is free and needs no account.
Your image stays on your device
Uploaded images are resized and processed in browser memory, without an image upload service. The logo or photo is included in your downloaded file. PNG is 1024 × 1024 pixels. SVG preserves the QR pattern as vectors, but an embedded photo or logo remains a raster image.
Check the finished design before printing
A small center image and white backing protect readability. The generator checks that the finished QR decodes to your original content before offering it for download. This does not replace a phone scan: test the downloaded file and the final printed size. Keep the white border and use the original design if a scanner struggles.
